DIRECTIONS:

In downtown Talladega, take South St. to Cherry St. and follow Cherry St. and it will become Taylor Mill Road. After about 5 miles you'll come to a stop sign, turn right and cross the bridge and the camp is on the right.

REPORTS:

This ia about 20 acres of gold bearing property that can be mined for a fee. It cost $5.00 to pan, $10.00 to use up to a 4" dredge, $5.00 to sluice, $5.00 to camp per day per person on all prices.

PROSPECTS:

I grew up in Alabama and this was part of my old "stomping ground". The gold is fine, but lots of nuggets up to 1 dwt. have been found.
