I am looking to buy another detector in the very near future. I have narrowed the search down to a few different detectors, mainly the Conquistador, the Silver uMax, and the Fisher 1236x2. Then I came across a website offering the DeLeon. I have read some field tests and the specs, and this seems like it may be a nice unit. Just wondering if anyone out there has used this unit, or can offer any advice on this unit or any of the others I have listed.

I will mainly be coin hunting, but may also try to do a bit of relic hunting, also.

Thanks

Dave

Dave,

I recently switched from the Tesoro COrtes to the DeLeon. It was a great switch. The Deleon's ID is right on the money and the depth meter is very accurate. As far as depth I have dug a pocket knife at 9 1/4 inches and a few dimes at 7+ inches. Give this machine some serious thought. I love this detector.

Hello
My first detector was the Conquestador. I still have it and use it alot. I just love this detector, If you go slow it will get great deapth and is very sensitive. I also had a delion. It is also a very nice unit, But I sold the delion because with an ID detector a guy seems to be more picky with it and ONLY dig the real good signals. So now I am back useing my Conquestador and dig every signal that repeats and sounds good. I hope this helps.
