Hi Mike Wave
Dennis and I live down at the Rawhide Mine and have been here almost a year. I was looking for some information about the mine to send to my grandson. I am glad you mentioned the Rawhide. What a beautiful spot in paradise.....we love it. I panned a bit last summer and got a little color but I am so new at it I am not very adept. Maybe this summer I will strike it rich. Great and very helpful article by Tom Ashworth. Not sure what is meant by "pour it quickly into a dry mortar? Always used metal moulds which is heated. Can someone explain?
