K-13 LOWER SEIAD CLAIMS

Are located just upriver from the confluence of Portuguese Creek - which is approximately 3 miles down river from where Hwy. 96 crosses Seiad Creek. Boundary signs posted o trees mark the down river claim boundary. The up river claim boundary is posted on a tree almost 2 miles up river, along the river access, small campground, just down river from Seiad Valley. There is one small parcel of private property located along the river in about the center of this claim. The cable car which crosses the river is toward the upper end of the private property. There are boundary signs along the up river and down river edges of the private property.

PROSPECTS

These claims have been very good gold producers for members. Much of the gravel is reasonable shallow to bedrock. Lost of nuggets and jewelry gold have been recovered off the property, from the top end, to the bottom. And most of the claim has yet to be adequately tested. The gravel bars on the far side of the river provide some of the clubs best high banking opportunities.
