K-7 KINSMAN CREEK CLAIMSLOCATIONRIVER:Klamath RiverCOUNTY:Siskiyou CountySTATE:CaliforniaAre located at the confluence of Kinsman Creek, which is two miles up the Klamath from its confluence with the Scott River. Kinsman Creek is not marked with an official sign, but is a visible creek which enters the Klamath from the Hwy. 96 side. This is a short claim. The upper boundary butts up to posted private property at the lower end of the first gravel bar up stream from Kinsman Creek. The lower boundary is clearly posted on a tree alongside the highway. Access to the river is reasonably easy. PROSPECTSThis claim, to our knowledge, has yet to be tested or mined by members of our organization. But the prospects look good, because of the past history of this section of river. |
